Who are we?

Luxembourg for Tourism (LFT) is the Grand Duchy’s national destination marketing and management organisation. LFT’s main mission is to promote the country and its touristic offer towards target groups with growth potential, stimulating and developing demand for touristic stays in Luxembourg.

LFT has a unique opportunity for a

Head of International Trade Relations

Under the authority of its CEO, the Head of International Trade Relations deals with b2b relations, partnership development, distant markets and activities related to trade fairs/exhibitions/live events for Luxembourg for Tourism GIE.

You are responsible for

  • coordinating the International Trade Relations team
  • developing and managing of the department's budget
  • the objectives and results of the International Trade Relations Department
  • coordinating your team with the LFT services
  • strengthening LFT's b2b relationships in the tourism world and beyond
  • identifying new market opportunities and developing partnerships in the public and private sectors, locally and internationally
  • designing and monitoring promotional activities for professionals (fairs, exhibitions, economic missions, workshops, etc.)
  • coordinating of LFT activities in long-haul markets
  • managing relations with the MICE tourism sector.

You will contribute to

  • developing the LFT strategy
  • innovation in Luxembourg tourism
  • increasing the visibility of the destination through the activities of your department
  • representing of the company at industry events
  • strengthening the digital approach

Your profile

  • Master's degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communication and/or tourism
  • Solid budget management experience
  • Strong sense of organization
  • Highly developed critical thinking skills: analysis, synthesis and evaluation
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent command of English, German and French. Luxembourgish is an asset.
  • Professional experience required.
