Sebastian Reddeker appointed CEO of Luxembourg for Tourism

Following the recruitment process launched in July 2018, the national tourism promotion agency Luxembourg for Tourism (LFT), under the administrative supervision of the Ministry of Economy, has announced today the appointment of Sebastian Reddeker as CEO of LFT.

"Sebastian Reddeker has the necessary skills to develop a long-term vision for the promotion of Luxembourg, in line with the Tourism 2022 strategy of the Ministry of the Economy, which formulates the way Luxembourg wants to position itself as a quality and diverse tourist destination. Mr Reddeker's main mission will be to implement a marketing strategy that takes into account market trends, particularly in terms of digitisation, while listening to all national tourism stakeholders," stated Romain Weber, President of LFT.

Sebastian Reddeker, 39, holds a doctorate in communication from the University of Luxembourg. Between 2011 and 2017, Mr Reddeker was employed at the Luxembourg Confederation of Commerce (clc), as a Project Manager first for the development of Luxembourg as a business hub in the Greater Region, then in the field of cities and commerce. In early 2018, he joined LFT as Content and Innovation Manager. Since May 2018, Mr Reddeker held the position of Acting Director of LFT.
