Luxembourg Card 2018: Free entry to more than 70 attractions!

Nowhere else does a single tourism passport give country-wide access to tourist attractions. For a one-off fee you receive free and reduced cost access to more than 70 sites with the Luxembourg Card 2018. As well, you can use free of charge the entire public transport network of trains, buses, and the new tram. This card is a must have when visiting on your own or in a group.

The Luxembourg Card tourism passport offers easy and quick access to the Grand Duchy’s major tourist attractions, with new venues having just been added. Available for one, two or three days for an individual (€13, €20, €28) or for families or groups of up to five people (€28, €48, €68). Thereafter you pay nothing more to enter most attractions, or else you receive a substantial price cut. The card also gives reductions on tickets for shows at Luxembourg City’s Grand Théâtre, at the Cube 521 in Marnach and for the Echternach and Wiltz cultural festivals.

The tourist passport also makes it easier to visit the country by bicycle.

With so many cultural exhibitions to choose from, the Luxembourg Card is also a museum card. The Mudam (Musée d’Art Moderne) will feature a thought-provoking presentation of work by Portuguese artist Joao Penalva, while the Lëtzebuerg City Museum, National History and Art Museum (MNHA), and Natur Musée have all refreshed their permanent collections, using the latest, innovative presentational techniques. As well, the Science Center in Differdange has many interesting exhibits including the world’s largest internal combustion engine.

Thanks to the Luxembourg Card, families will have easy access to illuminating guided tours, Segway trips, or the thrill of exciting water slides in one of the country’s modern swimming pools. Wine lovers will appreciate how the card opens possibilities for tasting local produce in wine cellars and on river cruises.

Be free and easy as you tour Luxembourg City’s Unesco heritage site old town, gaining swift access to castles and fortified locations. This includes the fascinating underground Casemates historic military tunnels, which can also be visited during the evening. Free public transport also makes it easy visit the country’s towns and charming villages. There are also options to cross the borders, with excursions to nearby Trier and Bastogne included on the card.

The tourism passport is on sale in tourist information offices, hotels, campsites and youth hostels. You can also order online.
